Each one of these sites have something they want to try to get you to do. Some try to fool you into installing software to "Scan" for virus but in reality you are just installing a Trojan. Others like to try to scam you into buying there fake product so they can make money off of you. In reality this software does nothing to provide any virus protection. Sometimes they even use exploits to install onto the system. These usually have Pop ups or warnings saying you have a virus. There might be even a Web browser re director to the site in question. You should never download or install software from an Unknown source. Also you should never buy any product without asking questions.
