How Malwarebytes Pro and SuperAntiSpyware Pro keeps me safe!

Virus - Don't let it get in the window

Malwarebytes and me!

I’ve been using Malwarebytes Pro for the past few years.   Ever since 2009, I’ve used Malwarebytes Pro has always been my go to for getting rid of those really hard to get rid of viruses and malware!  I must say I haven’t had a virus or malware on my system yet.   I often travel to libraries and other such places where you never know what may happen.  Even though I use VPN4ALL, also to help protect my privacy, it doesn’t make me invisible to viruses and malware!

Over the Past 4 years!

I’ve had to disinfect my sisters computers and some other family members who have yet to learn that you have to keep your antivirus up to date and current.   The problem is AVG and other are only valid for one year.   Unlike them, Malwarebytes Pro is a lifetime license.   No matter how long you use your laptop or desktop you keep getting updates on software and virus definitions.

SuperAntispyware and Malwarebytes!

I use SuperAntispyware Pro and Malwarebytes Pro in tandem when I need to remove a virus or malware.   Both of these are sponsors of the blog, and I earn a little commission when you buy using these links.  With each of these you get a lifetime license and this saves me money because I don’t have to worry about buying a anti virus license every year or two.   I’ve probably saved several hundred dollars from not having to buy new licenses.  Although I am probably one of the few who know about what could happen if you click links your not sure of.   So by saying these have stopped me from getting a virus may be a overstatement on my part.

I could go on!

If I just kept talking about these two products you would probably get tired of hearing me.   I have had much success with both of these products to keep and also help get rid of those really troublesome viruses and malware that may be hidden on your system.   This isn’t going to be over but this will be coming back.   If you know someone who might need to know about a good Antivirus Software or Antimalware software.   Send them to these two sites and I am sure there problems are going to go away quickly.

SuperAntiSpyware Pro Is it Worth 29.95?

I have a couple people ask me "is SUPERAntiSpyware worth it?" when I am working on clients computers and I thought I would show you just how good SuperAntiSpyware works with removing scareware:

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Part 4

Thanks to Matt from www.remove-malware.com for posting these videos.

As you can see SuperAntiSpyware with the Real time Blocking can help block and remove malware on your system. Some of the key differences from free to Pro are easy to see. Now I can't make the decision for you but I hope these videos help your decide if it is worth it. I do know I recommend Pro to all my clients and customers who want to have the cheapest possible Antivirus And Spyware. You can visit my [intlink id="4305" type="post"]Review of AVG 8.5 Free[/intlink] and [intlink id="3884" type="post"]SuperAntispyware Pro[/intlink] for further details. This is what I recommend to my clients and customers who want to keep it cheap. I hope this helps you decide when it comes to buying it. The nice part of about Buying SuperAntispyware is that it is 29.95 and if you buy it with the Lifetime Subscription you get it for $39.90 and you don't have to pay for it anymore.

New Rogue Antispyware -- contraviro.com

contraviro_rogue

This is a new rogue Antispyware site that has popped up today and I wanted to talk about this.   For one contacting these guys does no good because if you were to click the contact link it will send you to a form page.    The file that it tries to send me is called "ContraviroInstall.exe".   I've sent the file to SuperAntiSpyware team for Analysis and should be updating there databases in the next few days to prevent and protect your system from any Malware that might be associated with this program.

So if you have this fakeware or I call it scareware, maybe it is time to buy SuperAntiSpyware Professional which comes with Realtime Blocking of threats! Prrevent potentially harmful software (spyware, adware, worms, dialers, hijackers, keyloggers) from installing or re-installing.

If your looking for a Good Antispyware, you should consider SuperAntiSpyware either the Free version or the Paid version anyway this software is back by CSS Forums.

Removing Win32/Bagle.HE worm

Here is another virus that seems to be spreading lately.   From the looks of it, it sees to be another email worm.  Here is what eset says:

Aliases

Email-Worm.Win32.Bagle.gt (Kaspersky), W32/Bagle.gen (McAfee), Trojan.Tooso!gen (Symantec)

[ad#ad2-right]Win32/Bagle.HE is a worm that spreads via e-mail. The size of its executable is 40565 B .

When executed the worm copies itself in the following locations:

  • Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\hidn\
    hldrrr.exe

  • Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\hidn\
    hidn2.exe

In order to be executed on every system start, the worm sets the following Registry entry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\drv_st_key

[ad#ad2-left]It seems to have a manual removal process, Unless you pay for the other software but according to the 411 on PC Security:
Win32/Bagle.HE worm is a “threat” that appears in security scans by fake antispyware WinDefender 2008.

The danger of Win32/Bagle.HE worm is supposed to scare you into wasting $49.95 on WinDefender 2008.

Unless you like getting ripped off, don’t download the software the Win32/Bagle.HE worm popup links to. You’re not really infected with Win32/Bagle.HE worm — you’re infected with scamware that you need to remove.

I’ll show you how to get rid of Win32/Bagle.HE worm and WinDefender 2008, for free.

[via 411 on PC Security]

According to this site you can remove it by doing some steps.  I think Kaspersky has an easier way to remove it and it looks like most anti-virus software will remove this.   You need to remember that only you can prevent this from the future.   You should also update your windows update and make sure your system is up to date.

Not so, Antivirus2008

[ad#ad2-left]On F-secure blog they talk about this rogue antispyware.
OK, so let's say the user (by some stroke of luckless chance, or courtesy of a trojan downloader) ends up with the demo installer of Rogue:W32/VirusRemover2008.C on their hands and it runs
[via F-Secure]

According to them, they have many different version of this rogue antispyware.  They have de, dk, es, fr, it, no, nl, and no, which are all attempting for you to buy this no so Virusremover2008 software.  They talk about how it tells you have a 9 infected viruses and that you need to remove them, but in truth, they use a text file to create this lie.  Check out all the details for further information.
