My thoughts:

I simply love Science Fiction movies, and Star Trek. Although you can buy the Seagate Ultra Portable Hard drive and have this come with the movie on it!! I have been watching this movie every so often and I can say without a doubt, I have had a great movie experience. I would recommend this movie to anyone who grew up with Roddenberry’s dream.

PolyMorphic Win32:Vitro Most Viraulent Virus

This seems to be an virus that is getting some people hit hard.   I wanted to blog about this because of the nature of Virus and Trojans.   I have read reports that this might be from Online Movies, and I have to say this is one reason why you must stay away from certain online movies.  I am going to take a guess that this virus requires a special CODEC, and you downloaded it and installed it.  It Could also be the update the Adobe Flash player idea to but still results in getting the Virus.

As I said before you take a risk when you go to sites you don't trust or know anything about.   You also should know that if you need a "SPECIAL" codec, you should just go on to another site.  These sites that claim they need this special codec means only one thing they want to install something without your Knowledge.

So what is this Virus:

The Virut family of viruses uses polymorphism to hide from all anti-virus protection, it infects executable files. File infection makes it very hard to repair a system that has been infected. W32/Vitro injects code in running processes and hooks the following functions in ntdll.dll which transfers control to the virus every time any of these function calls are made.

* NtCreateFile
* NtCreateProcess
* NtCreateProcessEx
* NtOpenFile
* NtQueryInformationProcess

After you get this very bad Virus you are done for.  You would need to install the Operating system from backups or even start a new.   This seems to be building this week and there isn't much you can do once your infected.  I do recommend a good Anti-virus and Firewall but that wouldn't fix the problem right now.  You will need to pull your backups out and start the process.  I suggest a complete wipe and then do the Restoring the backups.  This little virus likes to infect any .EXE it can so just restoring the Windows Directory will not help.  Remember only you can prevent from getting infected.

Hulu Launches the Hulu for the Holidays!

Some movies or show that will probably come to Hulu are going to be Christmas themes.  I would wager it will be Charlie Brown, Peanuts, The Grinch who Stole Christmas.  I am sure there will be even more later on, ones that I didn't think would come to Hulu.   We shall see what comes from what they want to do the next few weeks.  To bad they aren't doing clues this time around people seemed to like doing that.

Hulu Launches upcoming Movie Trailers Brought to you SPRINT!

Hulu launched movie trailers of the upcoming movies in the US.   Now to say the least I like the idea to be able to go to Hulu on a Sprint Instinct or other mobile devices to see before I go to the movies.   So the ones I like right now are Star Wars :  Clone Wars.

Some others that I like are Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince:

Hulu United States Only -- FAQ

August 16th, 2008 at 08:52 AM Umm, when exactly did Hulu decide to shut its doors to everyone outside of America? The site's title is "Watch your Favorites. Anytime. For Free". I'm sorry Hulu, this is a complete lie, as anyone viewing your site outside of the US is banned from viewing your videos. All the time. So that you know, I intend on writing a letter to Joss Whedon asking that he pull his Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog video from your network and redistribute it to a video site that isn't run by people who embrace the philosophy "Defective By Design". That way, the thousands of other people wanting to see this video, like me, don't have to resort to downloading the thing via the piratebay.

Well, This is something I wanted to discuss for everyone who reads my blog why Hulu isn't allowing anyone outside of America to see the videos.   It's all have to do with there contracts they have with certain providers.

Let me explain it to you another way, Hulu is now being watch all over North America.  Hulu is obligated to make sure no one out side of the US can watch these movies because they have "NO RIGHTS" to share this with anyone out side of the US.  When Hulu makes deals with these major distributors, they sign a contract.  In the contract somewhere at sometime, they are explicitly forbidden to stream this material outside of the US.

Is there ways around this?

Having experience in the computer repair and understand of what is required for someone to get around this type of "Protection" is somewhat hard.  Here is the reason, when Hulu banned people from watching outside of the US they did so by banning a group of Internet Protocols.

Here are Three ways at which I know you can watch HULU programming.  Be advised that these are ways to get around the protection and by doing this, You hold me not responsible for any and all actions.  I talk about this because it would be unfair not to, I've got to have some responsibility to my readers.

• USE A PROXY Server in the United States --  Now this one is the hardest because I don't know of any.  I am not going to do your homework for you, but I will say there has to be several in the US.  Be Warned that using this will greatly reduce quality and speed.  You will sooner or later be found out and blocked, so use this one is at your own risk.


• Ask Major Media Distributors to join HULU -- Writing to them and asking them to join Hulu will increase the likely hood of them opening up the resources to let people view outside of HULU.  You see the other distributors have the rights to distribute outside of the US.  If you get them to come to Hulu, you will be giving them the power to allow certain content to be streamed outside of HULU.  If you want to contact the distributors and ask them to join Hulu, by all means go through the IMDB and look for the distributors you want on HULU and find out how to email them or Snail Mail them!!


• USE an VPN to Access HULU -- This one is like Proxy Servers but this one is most often used by people who are traveling outside of the US.  That's right if your company has a VPN inside of the US you can watch shows.  This too could get your IP banned from Hulu, although I tell you this for those business men and women who are traveling and live in the United States and Military people too.  Has all the same flaws as Proxy, will slow you down, and quality will take a hit also!!
  

These are just a few of the ways you could stream information from HULU but use at your own risk.  If you have any other comments to add just go ahead and add them.  I want to hear what people think or what they want me to talk about.

Hulu Brings on Paramount Movies!

As you can see Paramount has been seen at Hulu.  I thought I would talk about some movies that I could be coming to Hulu.  So let's talk about some of them shall we.  I can see so many good movies:

So these are just a few that I looked up and can see them possibly coming to hulu in the next few weeks to months.  I am willing to bet most of the shows I've mention will come because they are the most adored by the public and others.  I will be doing even more searching later on!!!  I also think they will bring Star Trek : The Motion Picture but that is almost a given. I expect them to bring most of the Trek movies to Hulu being they have a lot of science fiction viewers.  If you have any ideas of what movies will come to Hulu by all means make a comment and talk about it.

Hulu now Offers HD content without Ads!!

Some Movies that might be coming to HULU!

So I've been thinking what other movies might be coming to Hulu.  So I am doing a little digging and found some cool ideas.   Here is what I think may be coming to Hulu down the road:

Although this is just like a wishful list, I did do a little research and found these movies. I am  guessing that most of these will sooner or later come to HULU.   I've got my reasons why these will be coming.  For one, I think some of the ones I've selected will be coming this winter, like The Grinch.  That would be for Christmas and Thanksgiving Premier.  I know what the editors like and they like several people.  They like several actors and they are Bruce Willis, Will Smith, Vin Diesel, and Steve Carell.

How to get Hulu to add content!

Why do we want to have campaigns?  Easy in order for us to have what we want from hulu we have to get there attention.   It might work and it might not but getting the attention of certain companies is the hardest part of all.  Most of the time the higher rated television companies don't want to have anything to do with streaming.  They feel it is taking away there core audience.

Is Hulu making it easier for us to watch what we want?

That would be a definite "Yes"  So what do we want Hulu to do?  Easy to put more television shows that we want to watch.  For example here are a few shows and movies that I would like to see come to HULU:

You're probably asking how one person can get any of the shows or movies on Hulu?  One person probably couldn't, but quite a few could.    How You might ask?

Here are Five steps to make it more possible to get what you want on HULU:

Step One . . . . Find people who are also looking to get the shows you want Hulu by blogging. Also by making a comment on the Hulu Blog.  The more people who talk about it and ask for it. The more chance the people who have the ability to do something about it will do something about it.


(*)Step Two . . . . Find an editor that you like on the Hulu Blog that has the same interests that you do and email them asking for information about that show.  You tell them you would like a tv program on HULU.


(*)Step Three . . . Do an Internet Movie Database search and find out who owns the rights for this.  Try to find someway to contact them and tell them you would like that show on HULU, explain why and how it could help them!!


(*)Step Four. . . . Blog about it or email your friends telling them how to contact that same company to be able to view that TV show on HULU for free.  Let them know the more who call the better chance it will eventually get on HULU!

(*)Step Five . . . . Do a Google search with the words "Hulu [Television show or move]".  See if you can find other blogs that feel this way and make a comment to them about your blog.  The more that know about your blog and what you want on Hulu the better chance the right people will find out!

Although some of this is common sense, it takes more than one person to get your favorite shows onto Hulu.  I wanted to throw out these suggestions.  Most of the cable companies and movie companies don't want you to stream the videos because they feel they are lossing money but we are the consumer know that's not true.

This is why I made a blog post about this to better help people get power over these companies.  I feel streaming is going to live past the television age and they need to adjust to what people want.  If you feel like I do, tell people about this blog post or you can also go to my HULU DISCUSSION community area and post you comments there.

Hulu throws out family values!!

So here is why I say they have thrown family values out of the window. They seem to want to show clips and movies about Sex. Some talking about pregnancy and other just about how they do it. They also seem to have full movies about drugs and sex!!

National Lampoon's

Spring Break

One of the ones I am talking about is National Lampoons which talks about the usual spring break and 18 year olds. I am guessing they are trying to get people to google the word sex and movies to get people to come to Hulu.

Totally Baked

Now about this little movie, this one is so stupid, I wouldn't even rent it. It however has been rated "R" and talks about drugs and some sexual scenes. I also think they are doing this to get people to come to there sites. I however don't think this is totally acceptable, they shouldn't have to do this.


So what does that do for the reputation of Hulu? Are you comfortable with how this IPTV is showing these types of content on the internet. although you have to be REGISTERED to see these that doesn't mean they actually prove that your 18 or older to see these movies or clips. What do you think they should do about this? Are you concerned about your children seeing this?
